Itumeleng Khune’s sister passed away and his parents house burned to ashes last night

Itumeleng Khune’ sister Meiki Mapula Khune passed away last night (Wednesday night). Reports suggest that she died when her parents home caught fire and burnt to ashes during the night of Wednesday.

At the time of her death, she was working in the marketing industry and was also the CEO of Khune Foundation.

It never rains but pours for ltumeleng Khune the Amakhosi goalkeeper has been going through the most. On the other hand things have not been going well for him at his team as he has been stripped of his captaincy title and has been under attack from fans as they are constantly attacking him for his poor performance in most matches.

As if that’s not enough the Amakhosi goalkeeper has lost his sister as if that was not painful enough his families house was burned to the ground last night. It’s not yet clear if anyone was hurt in the fire and if it was what lead to his sister’s death.




Itumeleng Khune and his family have not said anything about the incident and we are not sure how far true all this is. This sad news was shared on Twitter by one user by the name @AdvoBarryRoux however it is has not been verified yet. As soon as we get more information regarding this we will keep you updated.
