MANDLHAKAZI SOCCER PLAYER, DEZEL MKHARHI SELECTED FOR TEAM SOUTH AFRICA TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL CAF U/15 CHAMPIONSHIP

Mandlhakazi’s very own Dezel Mkharhi has achieved an impressive feat by being selected to represent Team South Africa in the prestigious CAF U/15 Championship. This exciting tournament is set to take place in Windhoek, Namibia, from 7 to 14 October 2024, bringing together 24 African nations to compete for the coveted title.




Dezel, a rising football talent from the dusty streets of Mandlakazi under N’wamitwa Traditional Authority outside Tzaneen has been training intensively this past week during a national training camp to sharpen her skills and prepare for the tough competition ahead. Her inclusion in the national team is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and skill on the field.

The CAF U/15 Championship is an important platform for young players like Dezel to showcase their talent and gain international experience. It also provides an opportunity for scouts and clubs to identify promising players who could potentially go on to have professional careers in the sport.
