Man Takes His Own Life After H******g Wife To Death With A Panga At Nyakelani Village

It has been reported that in the early hours of Sunday, 29th September 2024, a tragic incident unfolded at Nyakelani village under Nyavani Traditional Authority (Xihoko) outside Tzaneen, where a domestic dispute ended in unimaginable horror.

According to reports, a heated argument broke out between a husband and wife, escalating to the point where the husband attacked his wife with a panga.

The wife was hacked multiple times, leaving her fatally injured. After committing the brutal act, the husband fled the scene.



Local authorities were alerted and rushed to the location, where they found the wife lying in a pool of blood, with severe injuries from the panga attack. Emergency services were called, but sadly, the woman was declared dead at the scene.

The husband was later found dead after hanging himself. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to this devastating double tragedy.
