GREATER GAGASH MUNICIPALITY WEDS HIS BELOVED WIFE AT MARIVENI VILLAGE

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality welcomed massive guests at Mariveni village in Tzaneen. Peter Nonyane, popularly known as Greater Gagash Municipality tied the knot with his beloved wife, Charlotte Tibana.

The wedding ceremony, which took place in Charlotte’s home village of Mariveni, was a celebration of love, music, and cultural heritage. In attendance, there was who’s who of the entertainment industry.

The festivities were split into two parts, with the first leg of the wedding held in Mariveni and the second part of the welcoming ceremony for the bride scheduled to take place at Mageva village on Sunday.

The weekend-long celebrations attracted a star-studded guest list, with renowned Tsonga music artists set to light up the after-party at Xidlondlo Place in Mariveni. Performers included President Benny Mayengane, Solly Makamu, Henry C, Xamacombo, and Moose Musiq.

On Sunday, the party continues at Greater Gagash’s residence in Mageva with performances from artists like Papa Rhulani, DJ Mfundisi, DJ Mumba, Gondiboy, Vanhu va Mtakarow, and MC Trevor.

Peter “Greater Gagash Municipality” Nonyane is no stranger to the spotlight. He is widely recognized for his contributions to the Tsonga music scene, helping to elevate both up-and-coming and established artists by organizing events, particularly in Pretoria’s Sunnyside, as well as in Gauteng and Limpopo.

His events have become a platform for artists to showcase their talents, providing them with valuable exposure and income through regular bookings.

Known for his impeccable sense of style, Greater Gagash dazzled in his designer clothing during the wedding ceremony, which was also graced by influential politicians, celebrities, family, and friends. His close friend, Amukelani Chavalala, also known as Chavi C, served as the master of ceremonies for the day.

The groom, a metro police officer by profession, exchanged vows with Charlotte Tibana, a professional lawyer, in what has been described as one of the most memorable and well-attended weddings in the region. The ceremony honoured their Tsonga culture while reflecting the couple’s modern tastes and lifestyle.

As the celebrations continue, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Peter and Charlotte on their union. Their wedding was truly an event to remember, marking a new chapter in the life of one of the most influential figures in the Tsonga music industry.
