MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR SUSPECT WHO ALLEGEDLY STABBED HIS GIRLFRIEND TO DEATH AT MADODONGA VILLAGE

SAPS in Tshilwavhusiku activated a massive manhunt for a suspect who fatally stabbed a 30-year-old woman at Madodonga village on Saturday, 27 April 2024 at about 08:05.

The police responded to a complaint of murder at Madodonga, and upon arrival, where the victim was staying with his boyfriend, they found the victim in the bedroom lying in a pool of blood and having sustained several stab wounds on the upper body.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, a 30-year-old woman, was stabbed with a sharp object repeatedly hit with a hard object , allegedly her boyfriend who he fled the scene.

The victim was certified dead on the scene by emergency medical personnel.

The deceased was identified as Rinah Malange (30). Police have opened a case of murder.

The motive behind this horrific act is unknown at this stage; a police investigation will determine that.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has strongly condemned this incident and instructed the Police to hunt down and arrest the suspect in order to face the full might of the law.
