TZANEEN UNITED FC ON TRACK FOR ABC MOTSEPE PLAYOFFS

Greater Tzaneen based side, Tzaneen United FC continues to dominate the Limpopo ABC Motsepe Foundation Stream B league.

The head coach Peace Khoza has contributed immensely to the success of the team. Their stellar performance has put them in a pole position to participate in the national playoffs.

Peace Khoza emphasized the importance of rigorous training sessions since pre-season and assembling a strong squad, which he believes has been instrumental in their success in the league so far.

Reflecting on the team’s mandate from management, Khoza stated, “The mandate was very simple from the management: to take the team to playoffs. With games to go, I think we are going to achieve it.”

With only a few matches left in the season, Tzaneen United FC stands poised to meet this objective, currently sitting comfortably atop the league table.

Looking ahead, Khoza outlined the team’s aspirations, expressing their ambition to campaign in the National First Division (NFD) next season. He indicated that preparations for this transition would commence after their final match of the current season.

Despite their impressive run, Khoza remains cognizant of the challenges that lie ahead, particularly in their upcoming fixture against City Motors FC.

“The preparations are going smoothly. We will be traveling to City Motors this coming Friday, and we expect a tough match at their backyard, but we will go all out and collect maximum points,” Khoza remarked.

Tzaneen United FC’s recent victory against Eleven Fast Tigers solidified their position at the top of the table, marking their sixth consecutive win. With eleven wins out of thirteen games played, they maintain an eleven-point lead over second-placed Ditlou FC.
