A 40-YEAR-OLD WOMAN FOUND MURDERED IN MOOKETSI FARM

Modjadjiskloof Police in Mopani District have launched a manhunt following the murder of a 40 year-old woman at a local farm in Mooiwater, Mooketsi, on Saturday 02 May 2026 at about 12:33.

According to the reports obtained from the police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the police responded to a complaint of murder at the farm. On arrival, the farm manager directed them to the scene where a 40 year-old female who is originally from Zimbabwe was found deceased in her bed with visible injuries to her forehead.

Emergency Medical Services Personnel were summoned and declared the victim dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigations have identified a person of interest, Joshua Mpape, whom it is believed he may assist the police in resolving the case. The motive for the incident is not yet known.
