20 CATTLE ALLEGEDLY KILLED BY KRUGER NATIONAL PARK RANGERS

According to the information at our disposal Kruger National Park rangers are allegedly continuing to cull cattle that are grazing within the park. It has been reported that they have recently shot and killed 20 more cattle.

This follows the vandalism of the Mthimkulu Game Reserve fence by rhino poachers several years ago. The livestock in question, allegedly killed by rangers, and wild animals belongs to farmers from Mbaula Ranch and Phalaubeni villages, situated east of Giyani.

Jonathan Ngoveni, Secretary General of Mthimkhulu Development Initiatives, stated, ‘The management of Kruger National Park is preventing us from retrieving our livestock currently in their care.”
