Ona and Zanele leave it to Nkosi to decide whether or not to sell to Devilliers. Thato opens up to Ona about his sexuality while Mampho asks Laz how she already knew Thato was gay.

Nkosi’s guilt over selling HOZ is worsened by the frosty reception he gets from the HOZ staff. Loyiso accuses Faith of being opposed to the sale of HOZ because she still has feelings for Funani.

As the HOZ staff panic about losing their jobs, Mampho leads them in staging a protest to force Nkosi to reverse his decision to sell the company.

The HOZ staff is forced to call off their protest after Nkosi makes it clear that there’s no other way to keep the company afloat without Funani and that the sale will go ahead as a matter of fact.

Ona has an inspired idea and rushes in at the last minute to stop Nkosi from selling HOZ to Develliers. A heartbroken Keletso makes it clear she’s upset with Isaac but won’t tell him why.

Ona and Nkosi make a surprising announcement that they won’t be selling the business but have decided to turn it into a collective brand, housing different designers.

Everyone is excited about the idea of the collective except for Zanele who questions her role in the collective and Faith who rejects the idea of being an ordinary employee instead of a shareholder in the company.

Faith breaks up with Loyiso and makes the surprising announcement to the Zwide kids that she’s moving back into Zwide mansion following Funani’s belated decision to leave the mansion to her.

Zanele explains to a stunned Faith that she intends to make a fresh start in London as her life’s no longer the same after losing Zola’s baby.

Nkosi becomes even more upset when Zanele initially refuses to tell him the real reason why she’s leaving. But under continued pressure from Nkosi, Zanele finally tells him about Zola’s baby and the miscarriage.

Nkosi is moved by what Zanele has been through and accepts her decision to leave even though buying her out jeopardizes his and Ona’s plans for the collective.

Mampho tells Nkosi it’s unfair that she has to pitch for a place in the new Collective when she and other employees were reassured they’d be repaid for their loyalty to HOZ during its time of crisis.

A mysterious Msizi vows to a suspicious Faith that he’s left his dark past behind him and quizzes her about the paving at Mampho and Maria’s house.

Episode 29

Faith opens up to Msizi about the financial challenges facing HOZ and hints at her bitterness that Funani didn’t leave her any shares in the company, but she rebuffs Msizi’s attempts to get them to spend more time together.

Nkosi and Ona experience a moment of victory as construction work on the new HOZ finally gets underway. Nkosi is impressed when Shoki’s online followers recognize her in public.
