Seven suspects wanted for a business robbery in Bolobedu

The police in Bolobedu under Mopani District have activated a manhunt for seven unknown suspects who committed a business robbery at a Fruit Shop in Mohlabaneng village on Tuesday 5 March 2024 at about 11:00.

It is reported that a 37 year-old male victim was in the company of his brother when two unknown males entered the shop in possession of firearms.

The third suspect stood at the entrance of the shop and the fourth one at the gate also in possession of firearms.

Three additional suspects were also waiting inside a white Nissan NP300 bakkie outside the yard.

The two suspects inside the shop demanded money from the shop owner and took a substantial amount of cash including a Samsung A14, Vivo V27 and Vivo Y21 cellphones valued thousands of rands.

Afterwards, the suspects fired few shots outside the shop and subsequently fled the scene driving a white Nissan NP300 bakkie with unknown registration numbers.

There were no injuries sustained during the shooting and a massive manhunt of the unknown suspects is currently underway.
