Bokang Rakgoale is Miss Glamorous Limpopo 2023
She was crowned on Thursday, December 21, at the Nkowankowa Community Hall. The 19-year-old from Khujwane village in Tzaneen, says her biggest dream is becoming an international model or winning Miss South Africa one day. The beauty queen is an advocate for women’s empowerment and believes that women can change communities because of their caring nature.
Zinhle Mkhabela was the first runner-up and Natasha Mthombeni was the second runner-up. Zinhle is a 19-year-old from Phalaborwa who is currently studying to be a diesel mechanic. She says she is pleased with how well she did as she worked very hard for the event. Meanwhile, 23-year-old, marketing student, Natasha is over the moon for doing well in the competition.
Natasha started modelling at a senior stage in life but is excited that she has finally done it. The event was established in 2021 by former Miss Limpopo Teen, Munene Dzavana. Munene told the Herald the event aimed to help identify future models who would represent the province on bigger stages. The organiser says she was pleased with the turnout and the support she received from stakeholders and plans for the 2024 edition to be even better.
