Who Is Mixo On Giyani: Land Of Blood

Nkateko Mabunda (born 2003) is a South African actor best known for her role as Mixo on the SABC2 Telenovela Giyani-Land Of Blood. She also had a role in Mjolo Ke Pandemic a Mzansi Magic Original movie.

Nkateko grew up in a township in Pretoria where she found her love for performing and filmmaking. She finished her matric in 2020 and got accepted for performing Arts course at Tshwane University of Technology in 2022. She was also part of a Musical Theatre cast during the same year and still managed to shoot for Giyani as a first-year student.

Nkateko Mabunda joined Mehlareng in 2022 and just after signing a contract, she was sent to an Audition for a new role on Giyani: Land of Blood S2-3 and the rest is history.

Mixo is on Giyani: Land of Blood S2-3 playing the character of Mixo which is a new character that is part of a new Family that will be joining Giyani.
