BuzzSouthAfrica reported in 2022 that the Limpopo-born radio mogul Given Mkhari’s estimated net worth is over $5.5 million (R101 million).
According to the 2018 Briefly article, Mkhari is the chairman of the advertising agency Jupiter Drawing Room and part of the board members at The Communication Firm (Pvt) Ltd.
“He became the independent non-executive director of Dialogue Groups Holdings Limited in 2006. He is also associated with a campus radio station licensed by IBA and known to be the CEO and founder of MSG Afrika group”, adds the publication.
In 1997 he opened MSG Afrika Investment Holdings, a black-owned media and communications group. It has interests in The Jupiter Drawing Room, Metropolitan Republic, Capricorn FM, Power FM, Quizzical Pictures, The Communications Firm (which he co-founded), and The Quarto Press, reports Sowetan.

Sowetan revealed in 2017 that the businessman, Given Mkhari is the brains behind Capricorn FM and Gauteng-based radio station Power FM.
The publication also revealed that Mkhari also has licences for Eastern Cape and Free State stations Rhythm FM and Beat FM.
“Growing up we never had television but relied on radio for information and also entertainment. We listened to Radio Tsongaand Radio Lebowa”, said Mkhari.
“Radio Turf was my first station, I was a manager and presenter”.
He was also offered a position as a producer of Kaya FM, now Kaya 959’s breakfast show when it launched and also hosted a midnight show.
“All I ever wanted to do was radio. I had anticipated that I will be on air for a while to save up to buy or start my own radio station.”
