Lindelani proves to be a weak witness, much to the dismay of Azwindini and his lawyers. Gugu is officially welcomed as a Motsamai makoti. Vhutshilo is offered a poisoned chalice by Sergeant Neshehe.

Tuwani and Mulayo doubt Azwindini’s innocence. Imani is told to give James a child before Gugu comes into the equation. Mpho accepts the shares.

Phusuphusu and Borosi surprise Azwindini at the royal house. Imani changes her mind about giving James kids. Mpho is thrown out of the MMC boardroom.

Vho-Masindi and Vho-Makhadzi cross lines they shouldn’t – in desperation to stay out of jail. Gugu loses her patience with her aunt and dishes out the ultimate punishment for her. Mpho receives advice on how to best help her brother but it sets her on a collision course with her enemies at MMC.

Valentine’s Day is not all that it is cracked up to be for James and his two wives. Phusuphusu’s scam leaves Borosi in a dark place. Lindelani suspects Mpho of using Tshifhiwa to get back at her.

The women ask why Borosi saved them, and he tells them they don’t deserve being thrown under the bus. James returns home and Imani is happy that he didn’t spend the night at Gugu’s. Tshifhiwa opens up to Mpho but reassures her he’s let everything go.

Masindi turns on Azwindini. Gugu’s pregnancy test is negative. Mpho realises it’s not the best time to bring up the pitch.

Azwindini is stung when Vho-Masindi snubs his gesture at brokering peace. Gugu’s worst nightmare comes true. Tshifhiwa charms Rendani.

The battle lines are drawn between mother and son. Khumo uncovers Gugu’s secret – or has she? Mpho witnesses an uncomfortable moment between her brother and friend.

Vho-Masindi and Vho-Makhadzi accuse Lindelani of being a witch. Hangwani discovers that Gugu is pregnant. Imani learns why she failed to conceive.

The Mukwevhos are shocked to discover that Lindelani has been chosen by the ancestors for a special gift. Imani is anxious about not being able to fall pregnant and is unaware that Gugu is already carrying a child. Rendani tries in vain to convince her mother that she and Tshifhiwa are not interested in each other.

Vhangani is put on the stand and he falls apart, causing Lindelani and Azwindini to fight. Kgosi apologizes for implying that Mpho and Tshifhiwa are an item.

The Mukwevho case threatens to pull the family apart. James finds out that Gugu is pregnant. Rendani, Mpho and Tshifhiwa plan to use MMC to help ex-convicts get a second chance in life.
