Knowing More Of Lehasa Maphosa From Skeem Saam

With his phenomenal acting skills, Cedric Fourie is currently stealing the show on Skeem Saam. As a testament to his acting skills, he is always trending on Twitter for his scenes on Skeem Saam.

He is nailing his role as Lehasa, a businessman in love with Pretty (played by Lerato Marabe). The love chemistry between Lehasa and Pretty has become the talk of the town. However, besides being the actor we all love to hate, Cedric is highly educated with a cabinet of educational qualifications to show for it.

Cedric was born on 17 March 1990 in Orlando, Soweto. The 32-year-old actor was raised by his mother. He did his primary school in several schools as his mother was always a tenant and didn’t have a permanent house. However, he did his matric at Athlone Boys, and he passed with flying colors.

After finishing his matric, Cedric Fourie registered for tertiary education at the University of the Witwatersrand. He studied for a degree in Network Engineering, and he graduated with distinctions. Following his graduation, Cedric worked as a network engineer for a few years before discovering his calling in acting.

After working with prominent network companies like Huawei Technologies and Monax Group, he dumped his career in engineering to focus on acting. Well, fortune favors the bold, it was a huge decision to make, but Cedric trusted his gut. He got his first acting gig on Skeem Saam as Lehasa. He has been portraying his role as Lehasa for ages nailing it to perfection.

As his career in acting is excelling, the actor did not take a chill pill and rest. He recently graduated from the University of Cape Town, where he obtained a degree in management practices. The heart-throb says that obtaining the degree meant everything to him and that he was aiming for an MBA next year.

It’s unknown who Cedric Fourie’s partner is. Where other celebs would flaunt their relationships, Cedric would rather keep his out of the public radar.

He has a son whom he describes as his motivation. With his son always around him, he says he doesn’t need to surround himself with motivational speakers.

By the way, speculation had been rife that he was in a relationship with Lasizwe after suggestive photos of them together popped online. Fourie neither denied nor confirmed the relationship but happily admits he’s a champion of LGBTQI rights.
