Getting to know more of NK Vortex from Mugwazeni Village

Mathebula Hlulani Gradwell (Born 20 March 1997), popularly known as Nk vortex, is a South African Tsonga RnB/Afro pop, song writer and recording artist at BnB Media SA.




He was born in Giyani (Makhuva Village), Limpopo and raised in Mugwazeni Village under N’wamitwa Traditional Authority around Tzaneen where his music career started to blossom. He gained public recognition after releasing his first Album titled “Dyondzo Hita Marhandzu” in 2017, the project managed and promoted by MR FD Mkansi. It was NK Vortex’s link up with Mr FD Mkansi that saw the beginning of bigger and better things.




NK Vortex’s unpredictable musical ability saw him working with Mr FD Mkansi as his manager and Promoter for the album “Dyondzo Hita Marhandzu” in 2017. Nk vortex is currently working independently without a manager but through his efforts and hard work he managed to win an Award organized by Giyani Community Radio (GCR FM) for the Best Xitsonga RnB artist. The Awards ceremony took place at Giyani Community hall in 15 June 2019.

NK Vortex has released singles such as “Cheater”, “Makhelwani”, “Khombyeni”, “Heaven and Earth”, “Even”, “Taken”, “Swa Namba” and “No Stress”.




NK Vortex has worked with other greatly talented artists and producers from the Greater Tzaneen area, amongst them are: Dj Ntwaa from Daniel Brothers duo, Much Money, Buti Na Buti, T-Math, King Just, Hetisani and Leon Ou just to mention a few.
