Lifeless Decomposed Body Of Newborn Baby Found Dumped At Nkambako Village

The Maweni Community in Nkambako Village under N’wamitwa Traditional Authority outside Tzaneen is in utter shock after the lifeless body of a newborn baby was discovered dumped in a ditch on Monday afternoon.

The grim discovery has left locals reeling and searching for answers.

According to reports, a woman believed to be between the ages of 24 and 26, who is a key suspect, reportedly gave birth to the child on Saturday.

It is alleged that she then disposed of the infant’s body in a nearby ditch, where it remained unnoticed until the unsettling odor and the sight of flies in the area drew the attention of community members.

As the locals began investigating the source of the foul smell, they stumbled upon the ditch, where they made the harrowing find.

The baby’s body was immediately reported to authorities, prompting an emergency response. Both emergency medical staff and the police arrived at the scene shortly after the discovery.

The police have since taken the woman in for questioning, where disturbing claims have come to light.

It is alleged that this incident marks the third time she has discarded a newborn child, with the woman reportedly showing authorities the locations of two other ditches where she had previously disposed of her children.

At this stage, the police investigation is ongoing, and it remains unclear whether the most recent baby was discarded on Saturday or Sunday. The authorities are working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the case and to confirm the identity of the suspect.

This tragic event has left the community of Nkambako shaken, as residents grapple with the chilling reality of a mother reportedly abandoning multiple children in such a brutal manner.

The investigation continues, and authorities are urging anyone with further information to come forward. This developing story will be updated as more details become available.
