Heavily Armed Suspects Rob Wisani Burial Society Car And Cash At Xihoko Village

Armed suspects are still on the run after robbing a funeral parlour vehicle and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash at a social grant pay station in Xihoko Village outside Tzaneen.




The incident took place on Thursday, January 9th, at around 11:00 AM near the Xihoko Village Post Office. It is alleged that the suspects, who were heavily armed, appeared out of nowhere and ambushed the Wisani Burial Society Parlor team.

Reports indicate that the suspects not only stole cash from the funeral parlour but also made off with the vehicle. After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.



The South African Police Service (SAPS) was notified immediately after the incident. Authorities have since launched an investigation into the matter, and the culprits are still at large.
