The community of Nkowankowa is reeling in shock after the missing former Nkowankowa Barcelona football player was found murdered in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

It has been reported by our sister Publication Tzaneen Voice that the community of Nkowankowa is in mourning following the tragic news about the disappearance of Nyiko Nkwinika, who was reported missing on June 23, 2024, in the Newlands East area of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Family, friends, and loved ones spent several anxious days worrying and searching for Nyiko, hoping for his safe return. Known as a beloved member of the community, his sudden disappearance raised many concerns and questions.

Unfortunately, recent reports confirm that Nyiko’s body was discovered near the intersection of the M1 and N2 highways. This news has brought immense sorrow to his family and friends, who had hoped for his safe return.
