How Ga-Wally Young Boy Died After Parents Removed Him From Initiation School

It has been reported by our sister Publication Tzaneen Voice that a young boy from Ga-Wally Village in Bolobedu has tragically passed away following his forceful withdrawal from the Modjadji initiation school.

The incident has left the local and neighbouring communities in shock and mourning.

According to The Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements, and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA), the boy whose identity has not been disclosed at the moment, was removed from the initiation school by his parents on Saturday, June 22. The reasons behind this abrupt withdrawal remain unclear.

Unfortunately, the young boy died the following day, Sunday, June 23, while in the custody of his parents at home.

At this stage, the cause of death is unknown, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
