Man Chopped His Mother To Death At Ga-Mamaila

A shock and fear to the community of Ga-Mamaila (Tzaneen) in Limpopo as a 30-year-old allegedly killed his mother with an axe.

In a deeply disturbing incident in the small village of Ga-Mamaila, located in Kolobetona village, Ga-Mamaila, Greater Letaba Municipality outside Tzaneen, a man has been accused of fatally attacking his mother.

The horrific event reportedly took place in the early hours of Monday morning. Police received a distress call from neighbors who heard alarming sounds coming from the household.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a gruesome scene with the victim, identified as a woman in her late 60s, suffering from multiple fatal wounds. Despite immediate efforts to provide medical assistance, she was declared dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigations suggest the weapon used in the attack was a machete, a detail that has added to the brutal nature of the crime.
