A HOUSE AND A BMW BURN TO ASHES IN LIMPOPO

The Limpopo Police are investigating an arson case following an incident in which a BMWi20 and a house were burned to ashes in the early hours of Wednesday, 10 April 2024 at around 03h40 Limpopo (Lulekani, Extension-B).

According to Limpopo Police Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the complainant was alerted by his partner after she heard some strange noise in the yard. When he went out to investigate, he realised that his BMW i20 that was parked in the garage was on fire and he called neighours for assistance.

Limpopo police Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says that unfortunately, the vehicle exploded, and the house caught fire as well.

Malesela Ledwaba says that fire brigade personnel worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze, but the vehicle and the residential properties were completely destroyed.

He says fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
