SHOULD WE BE WORRIED ABOUT TWO MOUNTAINS FINANCIAL SERVICES

Two Mountains issued a statement that their financial services team is working around the clock to ensure that all valid claims are processed and paid.

This follows after Two Mountains failed to pay claims in a timely manner. Our source said she submitted her claim on the 1st August 2022 after her uncle died on July 27, and so far she has not been paid.

Our sister paper, Giyani View has learned that Two Mountains is no longer underwritten by Hollard.

“Since they parted ways with Hollard, funeral benefits have been unpaid. Their customers cry all the time. I’m one of them.

“My uncle passed away in July, I submitted my claim in August, and I was told that I’ll get the money within 48 hours. After a week when I called them, they said my claim is still pending, even today, I’m still waiting,” she said.

Meanwhile, the insurance company added that they sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
