Pleasure Masana Ngobeni, a 25-year-old born and bred in the dusty streets of Nkambako Village (Maweni) under N’wamitwa Tribal Authority outside Tzaneen.

Pleasure is a Miss Grand South Africa 2026 finalist, a purpose-driven woman, model (owning 72 titles) and a community advocate committed to growth, representation and impact.
“Growing up wasn’t easy. Like many young people, my teenage years were shaped by the challenge of trying to find myself. In 2018, after years of exploring pageantry, I experienced a turning point that helped me discover my voice and confidence. Pageantry became a space where I could express myself openly and embrace who I truly am,” says Pleasure.

Pleasure reiterates that family has always been her foundation. Even when her interests in music and art didn’t produce immediate results, they continued to support her with patience and belief.
“My friendships taught me valuable lessons about influence that friends can either uplift you or lead you astray. Those experiences shaped my discernment and personal growth.

“My professional work allows me to engage with people from diverse backgrounds, helping individuals and families make life-changing decisions. This exposure has strengthened my sense of empathy and responsibility toward my community.” Says Pleasure Masana Ngobeni
In 2023, she founded Pleasure’s Foundation, with a mission to uplift and protect vulnerable children by removing them from the streets and creating opportunities through mentorship and modeling platforms. Her personal mission is to empower young people to believe in themselves and access opportunities regardless of where they come from. Pleasure believes in purpose-led leadership, compassion, and community upliftment.

Pleasure draws her inspiration from what she quotes from Zozibini Tunzi on the Miss Universe stage:
“I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me, with my kind of skin and my kind of hair, was never considered to be beautiful.”
That moment reminded her that representation matters and that embracing who you are can shift global narratives and empower generations of women.

“My advice to other kids out there is, start by believing in yourself and your vision, even before others do. Stay consistent, remain teachable, and don’t be afraid to start small. Your background does not limit your potential your commitment and authenticity will set you apart.
“I am most proud of the growth and resilience reflected in my pageant journey. Earning multiple pageant titles over the years has shaped my confidence, discipline and sense of purpose. Each crown and sash represents more than a win it reflects consistency, self-belief, and dedication. Becoming a finalist for Miss Grand South Africa 2026 is a defining milestone for me, as it affirms my journey and allows me to use my platform on a grand stage to inspire others to believe in their dreams and their worth.” Says Pleasure Masana Ngobeni.
