Male educator missing in Giyani

Police in Giyani have launched a search operation for a missing male educator, Freedom Mduduzi Masilela, 30, who lives in a rented house in Dzingidzingi village and is originally from KwaZulu-Natal province.

The victim, who is a teacher at Hawuka Secondary School in Basani village, was last seen on Saturday, February 24, 2024, when he was in one of the village’s liquor stores together with two other unidentified men.

The complainant, who is the landlord in this matter, alleged that she received the victim’s cell phone from the woman who claimed to be the victim’s girlfriend and told her that she received a cell phone from an unknown man who did not inform her of the victim’s whereabouts.

The type of clothing he was wearing during his disappearance was not known.

A search operation was carried out by the friends without success.
